if this lan doesnt happen in feb then i wont be able to make it till june time due to final year project, exams etc. tbh i shouldn tbh goin to this one but meh lol i'll put it down as research

I think your missing the point trying to re-arrange dates. It's in Ultra's parents hotel is it not? He has set a date with them and likely the Lans have been in the winter due to it being a quieter time of year bookings wise.

Quite frankly its too late in the day to move it. As stated in the quote above, we have practically booked out UE's parents hotel. Pulling out this late in the day will no doubt leave them out of pocket.
IMO there may require a Deposit increase for those that cant be relied upon (ie those that did not turn up to this one and the previous one)

My internet gear arrived today so i am back online! Though my XBL has expired and i cant afford to renew till after payday!
But im BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK
First off I want to thank everybody for the 'get well soon' posts. I'm getting plenty of rest and sleep (though sleeping the day away is really annoying at times). Managed to pick up the nickname "Casper" during my short stint at work today (apparently I'm as pale as a sheet ).
Secondly I want to further apologise for not making this meet. I was so looking forward to this time round I had even considered turning up on Thursday to get in there early (and to save a few quid on the train fare).
Last but not least, I want to offer all those who do attend a free round on me. I'll try and get round to emailing Aaron between now and the meet and arrange to PayPal over the difference between the £10 deposit paid and whatever he thinks the total may come to (unfortunately I don't think this offer can extend into £££ drinks/spirits but I'll see what I can arrange with Aaron in the way of a deal).
I'm back off to bed again.

I was looking forward to keeping an eye out for you both. Felt a bit of a fool last time when I asked you "was this the train to Carmathen" when there was only one other train at the station
.On a side note, have you guys figured out how you are going to get from the station to Aaron's? I was thinking (before things turned bad) of seeing if Aaron would be so kind as to do us a favour like before (for petrol money of course). Might be worth giving him an email if you haven't already got other plans.

oh on a side note....will we have t'interweb access on our 360's? I ask cos most of my arcade games are useless without due to the crappy DRM on them and would love to have some 4-player action on heavy weapon, aegis wing, undertow etc if anyones interested

Should be full internet access (last time there was an issue for a few hours, but we got there in the end), I think Az has fixed this.
Game list, er, nothing official I don't think but there's gonna be GH2/3 for sure, Burnout Paradise (and probably revenge), PGR4, Halo3 and COD4 for definate.
If it's anything like last time, Friday will just be a free-for-all, and I think Az will be setting up some competitions over Saturday/Sunday. Sunday evening is generally a wind-down period as people will have either gone or be getting ready for an early-off on the Monday.
Either way it's gonna be a full-packed weekend.

cool sounds good to me. im just going to grab a hand full of games and bring them.
Best way mate. It's like I'll probably be bringing a few single player games to play on a morning when people are still in bed, but if you've a good little mixture of MP games you should be fine. And if for example you don't own COD4 and want to play it, chances are someone else will have a copy they aren't using so you can borrow theirs and join in the fun.
I think on the Friday people were still a little 'shy' of each other, but by Saturday morning, we were swapping underwear and bodily fluids quite freely.
