DELL XPS M1530

I got an email this morning stating that my order that I placed on 30th Jan ment for delivery on Feb 18th 2008 has been delayed until Mar 11th 2008.

:) However the progess status changed to in production.. I just checked again and now its in delivery preparation :D.. Fingers crossed might come tomorrow if it ships today :D
 
Damn i didn't know i had to add VAT on to it when i came to the checkout i thought it was all in what a numpty! Somehow i missed the red writing that said this !

Time i was checking to see if this was correct the item went!

How do you check the delivery progress/order status of an item that you have ordered from the outlet site. All I have got by email is a web order number . . . . . ?!

meh, ive not even got that yet, i did write down the order number and emailed them and they have confirmed that they have received the order but thats it, not actual confirmation as such :(
 
I got a confirmation email as soon as I had placed the order, and it said something about getting a letter in the post with my order number and customer number on it ? ?

Am i wrong in thinking XPS M1530 will output HD at 1080I ?

The res doesn't go that high does it? Only up to 720P?

Just emailed them using the address they gave me on the confirmation email - and this is what I got back :

27th. Original EDD was 14th Feb, got an email on the 13th to say the new EDD was 7th March and then it shipped the next day. I suspect the 1440 x 900 screens were the holdup and they probably got a load.

And to the other person asking, the 1440 screen is very nice...

Thats good to know about the 1440 screen :). Mine is on its way for monday AM delivery! Hopefully i'll find the area size just about right. I've had a 1680x1050 15" panel on my acer for a couple of years and I do find it abit eye straining not to mention a strain for the GPU. Hopefully the 1440 is a nice balance of screen size and good gaming performance at native.

Edit: ahh walsh western tracking says its waiting at the local business post depo for delivery on Monday.. no one is picking up the phone though :(.. guess gonna have to sit tight until Monday

I ordered from the outlet on the 13th, got a brief confirmation email on the 13th, and this morning I got my order confirmation as a PDF file. They say delivery before or on the 26th Feb.
