Hi all,

Im still in a fair bit of pain as I type this so please excuse me, I was nipping round my dads on saterday and whent round a round a bout, the next thing I know i felt the wheels sliding, not sure where it was cold tyres, all the freshly laid salt, or desiel.

I remeber waking up in the hospital van and then comign to in my hotel bed OUCH!

Im in a bit of a mess, somehow the visor came off even though it was shut and bashed me in the eye, not happy about that

my arse is also black and blue, i always wear leather, except this time, never again, 2 x 10" scars on y arse which look like pizza, I cant see, i cant sit down. it kills.

Oh and it looks like it will cost me £250 to get the bike back froma recovery comapny, I wouldnt mind. my bro went to see and he said its goosed. scrap :(

It has around £1000 of suspension on it that will be going on ebay to try and recupe the money, cant afford a new bike till the summer now either.

anyway, just glad to be back at home, the hozzy was driving me bonkers, ill try and post pics of the R1 when it arrives tomoorow, before its shipped and scrapped

It's just metal mate, You are Alive which is what counts :)
Always nice to get back home after a spill.
Anyway **** all that, What bike are you getting next :D

:( unlucky.

Always gona fall off that one time you dont wear the leathers. Hope you have a quick recovery, as for getting the bike back that sounds like daylight robbery, but suppose that is normal for storage co's?

The roads this weekend were really slippery. The back end was sliding all over the show when I was out on the Ducati. Even though it was dry the salt was like marbles. You were seriously unlucky with your eye there, then again maybe lucky you didn't lose it?

Ouch mate! Looks terrible, please leave the arse pics off the forums though please :D

I hope you get better fast, I assume the arse damage is basically gravel rash?

It takes about 3 seconds to wear from skin to bone at 30mph, and like you, I've been there. Count your limbs and I hope you get back on two wheels soon :)

That visor thing is very unlucky. I've had a couple of accidents on the bike (don't ride anymore though) and never managed to hit my head luckily.

I wish you a speedy recovery Mr Pizza Bum :D

well thanks for the kind words, nearly brought a tear to the a.....:D

Its either a new R1 next, or a Ducati 1095, il have to see, wont be till nearer chrismas though.

Just dont wont my 7 year old finding out, I only see him every other weekend, im hping ill be mending by this weekend, he gave me a bad enough telling off the last time I fell off (4 years ago)

As to wha happene with the visor, i have no idea, it was down, and it was the original one, it certainly shouldnt of come off like that, i will certainly be complaining to AGV, I could have lost my eye.

Damn, what AGV model was it? my AVG S4 came off pretty well when i scraped it down the road, visor scratched but stayed attached.
