is there a demo of sins of a solar empire out??

sorry for a boring thread, but i searched on google fileplanet and the games webby but cant see any demo for it?? im guessing there isnt one released but im posting in hopes i missed sommin..

edit: but the full game is out is it not :S bit wierd to release a game a month after?

Few games do that though, there's probably some great reasons behind it, i can only guess that some do it if the game hasn't taken off well or possibly that they want to see which parts the general public like and showcase that in a demo, or thats they've just been too busy making the game and getting it out to think about a demo.

This game needs no Demo, just go for it you will never regret it. The game is amazing and well worth it

Wait for the demo unless you have the spare cash. It's a bit boring really. You spend 2 hours getting a large fleet, have one large battle, then the winning team slowly takes over the rest of the planets. At that point you know you're going to lose but just have to wait another 2 hours for the game to finish!

Has anyone actually ever won a game after the one large battle has happened? Havent seen it happen so far.

Yeah have to agree with that, can definitely see the potential but if i wanna spend 4-5 hours on a game i'll play Total War or something like that, or just a huge session of CoD4. Otherwise i'll go play with my turntables instead
