hey all.

boss brought in this mag today at work.
and it has the 2007 photographer of the year winners in there.
whole book with the mag, just for it.

a lot of amazing photography! (very inspiring)

from under 10 years old onwards!

but some shocking photography aswell, which is what we need.

aswell as my Fav shot, the white tiger!
you must go buy it,

Tesco didnt have it, So I went to Asda!
its worth getting

yea. the young skinny girl is, aswell as the landmine I agree.

but I think its a must in this world, because we live behind a wall in our lifes. and people dont like to see the truth in many things.

we only want to see what we want to see

but I think I will enter next years.

That's a Dragan image. Didn't know he would have entered/been entered. He's an established pro tog/physicist of something or other. His processing technique is fantastic.

Glad I bought it, some amazing photos in the book, and lots of helpful stuff for taking photos and processing them.

I've found the magazine in WHSmith now, and the following photo prompted me to do some research:

So yeah, it's a tiger called Odin and it's all a setup at a theme park in San Francisco:

I imagined it woud have to be behind a glass window of some sort anyhow, but it does seem to make the picture a bit less special, considering there are hundreds of them if you search on Google (not as good as the Digital Camera mag one, mind).
