Asus P5K Premium or Abit IP35 Pro?

Really stuck, which board shall i get?

Ive heard of a couple bad compatibility issues with sata II & p5k.

And apperntly bad vrdoop on the ip35.

Everything else seems perfect tho!

What are your opinions?

what CPU are you going to use with it?
You'll only get bad Vdroop on the IP35 Pro with a quad & even then there are ways & means to minimise/get around it.
 
im using the q6600.

My mind was set on getting the p5k, but i had a look on the asus forum and there are lots of people having problems using a WD WD5000AAKS which i have just bought!

What kind of problems? Can you attach a link please. Curious because I have 2 of the same drives and I'm having 'noise' issues when the drive is reading (very audible) when coupled with my Maximus Formula (accepted different chipset but still curious none the less) ;)
