Recommend me some 360 games please

I haven't bought a new game in about 2 months, for one reason because nothing has appealed to me but also because CoD4 online has satisfied my gaming needs up till now. One game that's caught my eye is Mass Effect, however I haven't read much about it and all I know pretty much is that it's a sci-fi RPG with a good story. It's certainly one to consider.

I was also looking forward to getting Burnout Paradise but after playing the demo I've been a bit put off, I've heard from a couple of people the full game is far superior but I'd need a bit more feedback...?

Anyway, the games I've played and enjoyed/disliked are as follows:

Liked:
Gears of War - Amazing
CoD 4 - Amazing
Skate - Amazing (no they're not all like this, honest :p)
Oblivion - Started it a while ago and have been meaning to go back to it.
Saints Row - Fun game if a little repetative.
PES6 - Great fun online.
Kameo - Loads of fun.
PGR3

Indifferent:
Halo 3 - Got bored halfway through single player, never even tried muliplayer yet!
CoD 3 - Completed it but by the end it was a little tiresome.
The Darkness - zzzzzzzzz
Splinter Cell Double Agent

Disliked:
Dead Rising - couldn't get into it.
Condemned - didn't give it much of a chance, didn't look like my type of game
PES2008 - just crap
Tony Hawk's Project 8 - as above

I'm open to any type of game really, just as long as it's enjoyable.

Btw Ive got Bioshock on PC before anyone suggests it :)

colin mcrae dirt? I enjoyed it.. didn't complete it I admit but only because I lack perseverance. It's a fun game, not too realistic and not too arcadey, good graphics and nice cars.

oh and mass effect is excellent, and I say this as someone who doesn't normally like rpg's. Final Fantasy etc, all of those turn based games I can't stand. Mass effect is good as you get the normal FPS combat but with an excellent story and character development.
 
devil may cry is a must, got it for ps3 and its excellent, im sure its same for the 360.

and another thumbs up for mass effect, not played it too much but it seems quite good.
 
FIFA08 if you disliked PES2008
Mass Effect is worth a purchase, although its very marmite on these boards.
Burnout Paradise full game is a lot better than the demo but im a bit bored of it as it gets quite repetitive.
 
Crackdown seconded! Fun game and a 360 exclusive. + you could pick it up v cheap second hand

I nearly added Amped 3. I borrowed it off a friend (well I borrowed something else and he insisted I tried it) and I couldn't put it down. Brilliant stuff.
 
Thanks guys, I'll definately buy Mass Effect on Friday then. And I'll also look into Crackdown, Assassin's Creed, Test Drive Unlimited, Amped 3 and GRAW.

I thought the demo was awful too, I only bought it because PES08 was absolutely horrendous.

Online is brilliant, speed wise it's barely different form playing offline. It's all so seamless aswell, easy navagable menus and you into a game within seconds.
 
I might have to get it then :p, too long to wait till the next PES and that might be crap as well :D

Having a quick look at the prices the cheapest I see it for is £27, even the lowest price on ebay is £25 or so. I expected the prices to have come down more than that by now.

Do you think it might be worth getting the new EA european football game? (cant remember what its called)
