Hello all,

Just had an idea which might provide some (minimal) entertainment this evening, and hey, everyone loves a 'guessing game' or a quiz. So here we go.

The idea is to give a clue to a OCUK username that other members have to guess. For example:

Clue: "James Bond / Ethan Hunt"
Answer: Spie

Obviously thats very easy (and isn't cryptic in the slightest) but its just to give an idea of the task at hand. Also, the thread will fail miserably is anyone makes it too hard to make a guess or makes it too cryptic. The correct answer giver will provide the next clue, and so on.

Finally, try to make it so the answer is obvous if it is correct (as above), so the guesser can straight away proceed with the next clue rather than awaiting a confimation.

Heres an easy one to get things going:

Clue: Filthy Mutt

It's cryptic, and it's a clue to someone. How's it not part of the game?
Well it was supposed to directly related to the user name to make things easy. Nix could be 'Steals, in slang'. Also its a sig that (presumably) would have to be known off hand to be possibly able to guess, where as my two examples were obvious.

But if someone gets it, whatever. If not, go again ;)

Dirtydog.

Name the sig: "Too weird to live, too rare to die"

cleanbluesky although I think that might be a few signatures ago now.

This users' name refers to a thought pattern in a scientific discipline or when allied with the suffix "shift" describes a change in basic assumptions - usually quite a major one.
