I thought velvert revolver sounded a bit dated. Its strange when you take the music of an era and bring it to modern day. It just ends up sounding cliched, but I guess thats totally unavoidable.

Yeah they sound a bit "dated" in the fact that they hark back to the 80's GnR era of ROCK!, you had to be there the first time round to get away with it really.

My Dad was chuffed with the gig at Newcastle, he met Slash and Duff after the gig so he was well happy with that.

Wasnt going to go but the gf has got a photo pass and i can get in free for the Birmingham show if i write a review for the local paper. Can never usually be bothered but i think i'll take them up on this one.

There's no confirmation but some harsh words between Weiland and Sorum are all over Blabbermouth, looks like the writings on the wall for VR :/
