I have to admit, it's pretty worrying when the "authorities" can frog march someone away to be sectioned for compulsive video game playing. :confused:

it's a pity really isn't it. That guy was so many peoples hero when I was at primary school. Really does show you that fame and money are not necessarily good things.
 
Lol, I think if a footballer was your hero you were severely lacking strong male figures in your life.

He died like 10 years ago or something and he played for blackpool :/

So either

1. His son isnt too young
2. A mentalist has a strong influence on the lad and has warped his mind in to idolizing a (dead) footballer.

Football is a great game for kids, but when they reach teenage years it should be abandoned, I still roffle my waffle when I see 35 year olds cheering in the pub at world cup time.

Just spoken to a lad who works at the hotel, the cops came in via the service lift and riaded his room after kicking in the door! the took two people away.... a bit strong for a game addiction lol
 
Ibot you just seem to be going about the forum ******* people off these days. Your posts arent just poorly founded, they are actually quite pathetic and insulting to a lot of people.

Gazza was a brilliant player and character. Having young kids idolize footballers is not a bad thing. Some people might actually lack a male influence like you said, is it bad that they would aspire to be like a footballer?

At least playing football is more productive than sitting on your arse thinking of ways to wind up people on a forum.
