Ok before you go getting all excited by getting the wrong idea, I was not suggesting at the same time but through out your life before settling down and getting married (if that is what you choose to do).
Usually when getting to know someone new the subject comes round to the number of previous partners and I am quite surprised the person I am going out with is shocked at the number of relationships (i.e. 3 months or more) I have had. I don't think the number is very high and as an average over the time I started dating until current it still works out that most of the time I was single.
My wife is my 14th relationship in 16 years (18y/o till now) I believe. I am her 5th relationship.
So what are the averages for others ? Is 14 a high number ?
Oh and buttering someone's muffin after getting legless
is not counted as a relationship for the purpose of this thread unless you then spent the next 3 months with her excluding prison time or hospitalisation

. No replacement suggested though.
I wasn't as surprised as I thought I'd be... I'd just say that 5 in 16 years is quite low.
