Considering it looks like a Ford Capri with a Senator rear end, is £158k too much to ask?

Ridiculous money for their cars. Think there's one on sale for about £250k which will allegedly top 200 mph, but you'd need balls like coconuts to try it. PLENTY of much better cars for the price of Bristols.

If I had the readies, I'd buy one...

Although I don't think they'd sell me a new one so I'd have to buy second hand...

I like them, if I was LOADED (and could afford numerious cars at this price) i'd probably buy one.

they don't allow journalists to test drive them, so they're probably **** :p
and they are hideously old and overpriced.

liam gallagher has one tho :p

huh, i thought i read somewhere that they're not allowed..
maybe it was just clarkson then :p

Bristol is one of Britain's most venerated carmakers. For over thirty-five years, Brits "in the know" have considered the obscure automaker's products to be the embodiment of English hand built quality and understated exclusivity. Unfortunately, motoring journalists need not apply. In fact, Bristol actively discourages any sort of publicity for its current cars. A test drive is "out of the question".

More money then sense, why would you spend £160k on that without having a review or the ability to test drive it? "Hi, look at me, I'm a bit eccentric".

Well I've read reviews of them in both Octane and The Automobile.

Bristols are for those who know that Rollers are preserve of brash new money types.

Oh and if you are in the market for one, you can get a test drive...If the principle thinks you're good enough to sell a car to.

yeh i don't disagree, i just remember having read that they don't take too kindly to motoring journalists :)
