Quick question in regards to knee supports? I have been having some pain with my knees, mainly aches and stiffness, I’m a big lad 16stone 6’3 and play indoor football twice a week as well as cycle and run, so quite impacting, I want to get a knee support and wondered which is best? Open knee or closed? If anyone has any info or advice that would be great!

that's not really much help, i wanna get a knee support before a game tomorrow, i'm not rolling around in pain, just wanna get some support and wanna know what is the best type of support open knee or closed knee.. i will go see a doc if it gets worse.

In my experience they don't make much difference. Most of the time its a mental thing.

Knee supports do make a difference but it depends on why the problem is there in the first place.

I have a Scholl Pro Sport knee support that I bought after a skiing injury on the first day of a holiday and then skiied the rest of the week with no problems, when I took it off I couldn't stand up without excruciating pain.
