Greetings,

Do OcUK actually plan on getting the following RAM in stock again soon, not sure but think theirs a newer model out though.

G.Skill 4GB DDR2 PQ PC2-8000C5 (2x2GB) CAS5 Dual Channel Kit (F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ)

Any info on this would be great, thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion Darryl, I have posted a webnote but havnt yet received a response besides the automated one, wish I knew where Ezyryder had seen them for 82 quid since I really need to get this system built this week.

They were on here for £82 before the weekend. They've gone up, probably due to the limited supply/out of stock.

Basically the response was keep watching as they are taking deliveries all the time, anyway I ended up sourcing the memory elseware, I paid a bit more and bought a higher specced version of this which is on a 8layer pcb 8500 5 5 5 15 ddr2 1066mhz 2x2GB.

Ive yet to actually install it yet as I changed my mind about my new build and am going to wait for the new quads/x48 boards to be released.

Just so you know guys, I finally bought the OCZ PC28000 before it went up and the pc is doing great. Got it running at 3.4Ghz

. Its a Q6600 in a Abit IP35 Pro btw.

ouch. Whilst I took the jump from 2Gb 6400 to 4Gb 8000 which was only £15, I think £30 for 8500 is just out of my league

Would be interesting to see how much performance you would get for that though.

Agreed £30 ish price difference between the 8000 and 8500 for only a 66mhz increase is not good value
