Very quick to finish? I am thinking about buying it but wondering about replayability and longevity...

Is it better to rent?

Thanks:)

It's SP and not very long, however you could always go back through and try to collect the artifacts if you don't get them first time.

I'd recommend buying it though, because if I didn't recommend buying it what could I recommend for anything else, it's a very good game and I wish I owned it.

it has replay value if your after all unlocks, but is around 10 hours long so easliy a rental if thats the way you want to go. Only thing that way is the developers don't get any cash which is a shame because they done well with Drakes Fortune.

End of the day though its what you can afford but its a game thats needs playing for sure

I don't even think it took me 10 hours, 8 hours maybe, but still, as I've always said on here, I'd rather play a short great game than a long average one, and it definitely falls into the former.

My save game comes in at 8 hrs 30 mins but I died a few times. So say 10 hours max for a straight run through. Very good though. There was quite a surprise to it about 3/4 way through - that was also the most cumbersome bit to get through.

It took me 11 hours to complete, and every second of it was magic...

best game i've played in years

Took me a little under 10 hours to do, so could be done as a rental.

Worth owning imo, though, as it's probably about the best thing to demo the PS3 to friends.

I'm sure the devs do get some cash or they wouldn't allow the rentals tbh.

It's a 'Must Play' title so i'd recommend it to anyone, best graphics I've seen yet on any console imo. However I wasn't a big fan of the ending (final boss battle QTE call it what you will), it didn't ruin the game but they could have done something so much better.

im loving it, but im stuck :( not sure if im near the end but im on a platform where me missus is in the wrecked helicopter, jumped behind the cases and then had a fight with the baddy and his shotgun goes flying both get up but i cant seem to do anything after that without getting shot?

its a great game but very very short. You could easily finish it in one sitting if thats your thing... my end save was just 8 hours.

definitely worth at least a rental

Youre at the end mate, last boss fight, hide behind crate until he fires his shots off then run up and do the QTE sequence.

Awesome game. Graphics are great, gameplay is great... not very long is the only downside really. I completed it on normal difficulty setting in 7 hours 34 mins i believe. I'd imagine hard mode would probably make it go on for an hour longer maybe. Well worth a purchase.

It's one of those games where you KNOW it's short, but you really don't care. So much attention to detail has gone into every part of the game you know it took them ages just to put together what they have - a longer game of the same quality would have taken eons.

I completed it on normal in under 8 hours, i instantly started again in hard mode - i'm 8 hours in and haven't even got to the twist yet, so it takes a lot longer in hard.

Play it for sure, but rent/buy is completely up to you. I'm definitely intending to play it through again btw.
