Football *SPOILERS* 23/25 February - Inc. Carling Cup

Thanks.

If only the the press (who apparently don't consider us a big club) would do the same...

Your not a big club results wise, you have a lot of fans that have been going for years despite you being a club that for a long period went from 2nd to 1st division and then back down again.

You have some great fans that are easy deluded by someone coming in with a nice cheque to buy up expensive players no one else wants. (Alan Shearer excluded) A retirement home for players on the slide to keep getting Big club wages.

Would be interesting to see if MOTD show it tonight, doubt they will.

Made me laugh earlier on 6-0-6 when somebody condemned Alex McGleish for telling his centre backs to "get stuck in" before the game

What's he supposed to say "play really soft and only go for the ball when no other player is near it" ?

RE: Arsenal game...

Got to feel sorry for both players, it's not like he meant to snap his leg in half is it? I wish Eduardo a full recovery...

But what a grade 'A' knobber Wenger is... I truly despise that weasel! Week in, week out his players dive, cheat and fein their way to victory. They start losing and they always turn into nasty little thugs, yet every week he goes on TV and pretends he didn't see the incident. Last week he even applauded his captain for trying to take out a Man Utd youngster for a bit of flair!

This week a late challenge from a cold player in the first minutes of a game and he's calling for a lifetime ban

GET A GRIP YOU FRENCH ****!!

Yes, definitely, because Man Utd didn't try and sign Shearer twice did they?

the videos on youtube make it look like an innocent lunge for the ball

but the photo stills show him looking away with his studs up like he knows hes going for the man

its a tough one

It wasn't a lunge in my opinion I was just a mis-timed challenge. To me a lunge implies that there was intent and the videos do not show this. It's not a tough one and for me it's clear there was no intent.

Even as a die hard Yiddo, I'll hold my hands up and say he's built some great sides that play devastating football. I've even said a couple of times on here that I'd rather Arsenal won trophies than Chelsea or Liverpool because those two bore me to tears with their tedious, win at all costs methods.

Yet Wenger just has no class about him what-so-ever... and that will stop him ever being viewed as a great in my eyes.

Maybe his comments would have been warranted if Taylor had actually gone out to maliciously break his leg or injure him. It looked a clumsy challenge. The fact it will be analysed from every angle possible and in slow motion will not do him any favours at all.

As Rob- Said, you never like winning points at the expense of others and I would have much preferred to see the Arsenal draw under better circumstances. Lets hope we see Eduardo back on the field of play again.

Who cares if he has class - some of the Arsenal football is the best I have ever seen in my life.
