Freshly Cleaned/Clayed/Polished Clio 182 Pics

Sold it as i was getting a works van and fancied reducing my outgoings...then i couldnt stomach driving a transit everywere...so a new toy was required lol

All day I would imagine. Last time I clayed mine it took 7 hours to do the car from scratch, and I could have easily spent longer.

nice work, I wonder if it was a wasted day though, it will get filthy again pretty damn soon going by the state of the roads recently. I was going to wash mine today (yesterday? :p) but after helping a mate move a load of bricks it was so cold I was losing sensation in my ears, so the idea got canned.

btw, nice size garage you have there.
 
Pretty spot on there stellios, took about 6-6.5 hours from start to finish.

Only thing is im now scared to go out in the car...dont want to get it dirty lmao. It will be tucked up in the garage most of this week anyway so should stay reasonably clean.

I remember when i posted pics of my ST170 i got more comments on the garage than the car haha. Infact ive got a bit of work to do in the garage later, going to put a couple of extra lights up to accompany the fan heater i installed a few days ago haha.

I personally would choose sex, as much as a like the car it doesnt do it for me that much lol.

That's the good thing about using a good hard wearing wax, it just slides off when washing it again.

It may get as dirty but it will be a lot easier to wash / get it back to that state :)

I'm washing the vRS every weekend and the 205 every other and it's quick and easy due to the 2 layers of 915 I put on both :D

This is the reason mine gets waxed. The roads are filthy atm and if it wasn't waxed
cleaning it would be a nightmare every weekend :D

Yup my thoughts exactly guys although i wasnt able to wax it yesterday as i run out of time and hadnt got any wax. It's raining here atm so dont want to go out and buy some wax lol

Any wax recomendations? I'm not planning on using the car today/tommorow so will get some wax while im out and about tommorow and get her even shinier :) or will the AG extra gloss suffice?

Know of any highstreet shops that stock it? Would ideally like to get some tommorow to save waiting for it to arrive of the net.
 
Looks very nice mate, great job! As you say though it's going to get dirty again very soon. I'm going to give mine a good clean and polish soon... but being black I know it's going to be a gut-wrenching experience taking it out afterwards. Sigh.
