Just wondering if Armed Assault is any good, I've been a big fan of Operation Flashpoint but was put of Armed Assault when i heard it was rather buggy? So is as good as flashpoint and is it now fairly bug free?
 
Operation Flashpoint = Brilliant.
Armed Assault = Total rubbish.

It isnt as good as flashpoint in any shape or form.
 
ArmA isn't buggy anymore. Think it's v1.09 out now (patch) and it fixes lots of problems and performance issues. The game itself is quite hard and tactical but I find it's well worth playing. Just annoying when basically one or two shots can kill you, so don't think it's BF2 or anything where you can just run around. You have to use cover wisely. :D
 
I played Op flashpoint and loved it, I got Arma when it was just released. It was rubbish.

I left it alone untill Thursday, downloaded all the patches, played the game and decided after an hour that is was still rubbish.

Its a very poor game, nice idea but just too buggy and clumsy.

its even worse than crysis IMO in performance terms, and doesn't look anywhere close to as good, plus the enemies take the **** and one shot you from about a mile away with AK47, which has an effective range of about 300 yards, simple tip, don't play it :rolleyes:
