It has been wwwwaaaaayyyyyy too long since we've had the pleasure of a new album from Supergrass, and I cannot wait for this.

I may go and pre-order this now, I seriously can't wait. :D

EDIT: Oh yeah, a release date maybe helpful.

It's released on the 31st of March.

It's fair enough though, as they've been around and around but have got nowhere to go now.

Whats the model of Fender guitar he's holding?
It's a '72 Fender Deluxe Telecaster. From the Classic series.

That track is pretty much the only decent track on the album - they are getting worse and worse - sorry to say it! (By the way I work in the music industry if anyone is wondering how I got hold of a copy)

They had two good singles, the rest of their stuff was rubbish.
But that was a long time ago now.

two good singles!? I beg to differ - they had 2 great albums (the first 2) the 3rd was ok but they got gradualy worse.

I <3 Supergrass !

Im amazed DMP hasn't mentioned how he saw them before everyone else

I daren't because chrisd will suggest I should have it in my sig :D

Oh go on then :

In the 90's I was gigging with my duo in a pub in the Huntingdon area (nr Cannock) and watching like hawks were a couple of lads at the front.
You always know when somebody is going to do the 'Creme Brule' scene from The League Of Gentlemen and start talking about gear with you.
On cue they came to talk to us and said they had got a band called Supergrass and hopefully they would have a single out in a few months.
All I heard was the word 'Fuzz'.
You can well imagine that since 1970 I constantly have supposed musos telling me all about themselves and last night I had a woman telling me she was a better bass player than my bassist etc etc and of course you dismiss such talk.
Imagine my surprise when I heard Caught By The Fuzz on Radio 1 a few months later.

Bugger, I think I've told that story 3 times now, sorry chrisd.
