Using vista 64bit and im a little tired of using the standard windows explorer

i was a die hard fan of PowerDesk when i was on XP, but sadly, they have not made a vista version (although there is a small trick you can do to make it work in vista - bit for me, its stil a bit flakey)

ive used Freecommander, but it takes too long to open for my liking

anyone use any others?

im very much used to having the drive icons at the top (highlighted yellow in this pic of powerdesk:

anyone recommend me one that works well in vista 64bit?

thanks!

Directory Opus gets my vote, I used it in XP for years, Then when I moved to vista I think it worked but didn't fit with the theme properly. I would assume they've got it looking better by now though.

thanks guys

il try Directory Opus.

i tested Total commander last night although very nice, it doesnt support right click context menu! doh!

Directory Opus here as well, both 32bit and 64bit versions.

Never leave home without it either, now that you can export it to a USB/U3 key and it'll run from there with your chosen config.
