pffff, plenty of nice country roads back down south where i live. Regularly go for nice drives around some tight, bendy forest roads. Haven't seen anything like that here yet

Best roads i've driven on are in Wales around Bala lake, an open twisty road around the large lake with a hairpin over a dam

Yes I do that's just slightly further down the road I was on before I turned back, there is a Pub there?. That's where I normally stop when I go for a run

That's one of the better ones, ignore the sign about how 1 person is killed every 5 days on it, that road winds through the whole Lake District.

My favourite is the B5284 between Kendal and The Ferry, 9 miles of pure drivage.
