My theory of the Universe and God

I find it prudent to point out (as the picture cannot) that the black space "outside" the grid-cone-thing of the universe isn't "empty space". It's nothing. This is a difficult concept to grasp. It's nothing. Not a vacuum. Not the interior of a bigger container. Nothing. Nada. Void. Empty. No light, heat, no up no down. No time. Nothing.

even nothing is something, since the concept of 'nothing' is a human construct, therefore it is something, as it is a construct in its own right.

its absolutely impossible to imagine nothing because the very fact you need to do something to achieve nothing means it is something.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to get at. Mind-bogglingly weird.

so basically, before the universe, there was just empty space with lots of elements floating around, then at one point ie infinite probability they must have all collided together or enough of them to make a powerful explosion. This would create light and energy so that was how the big bang happened, and as some of you say, the universe is going to keep on expanding forever and ever (until maybe it will happen again, which will create a parallel universe.. :p joking)

The main theory is that there was nothing, not even space. Absolute nothingness.

This I find hard to believe, as our universe, the big bang, had to have come from something.

This and a gazillion other questions will probably remain unanswered for all of Mans short existence on this rock.

Infinite recursion alert!

Where did that something come from?

Hmm, that is what I mean, the problem is, that the law of physics we know, are aplicable to this universe, there may be other universe's and something bigger that contains them all, but where do you stop??

At least brain surgery is easy compared to Quantum Physics :D

Well, at the point of the big bag, all the energy we have in the universe, all the matter in the entire universe, as condensed into a space smaller than an atom, that's something that boggles my mind haha :D.

I'm pretty sure that the laws of physics don't apply "outside" the universe (if such a thing even exists)

Isn't the universe everything that exists? So by definition there cannot be an outside.

I was responding to the previous quote. I don't know if anything exists outside our universe. I don't know if there is an "outside our universe".

All I was trying to say is, the laws of physics as we understand them only apply in our own universe.

I don't think the human mind will ever be able to comprehend how the universe was made or who/what made it. Just one of the things that will remain unanswered.

God was made by the people who made up witches wasn't it? :P

Which means there could be bigger things than universes that contain lots and lots of universes, lets call them "bigverses" and there could be millions of those inside of an even bigger "hugiverse".........

I think we're back to the infinity loop scenario again :p
