Why is this Mondeo ST TDCI so cheap?

how exaclty do they scam people?? he's still got to pay £15 or so to advertise the car

interesting one this one

theres a landline phone number on there. Most scamsters only give a PAYG mobile at best, more often just an e-mail address

landline numbers are tracable so hardly used by scamsters. My money's on it being a mis print or it being ropey.

I've worked in internet retail before, and you could spot the fraudulent stuff a mile off. They all had nigerian accents, only had mobile numbers, wanted the stuff delivering as quick as possible (before you spotted there was no money) and wanted it delivering to some dodgy address but then spent way more than somebody at that address was likely to spend. Then ordering multiple sizes and colours of the same garment. And they'd never answer when you call back, because they're allways going on a flight and wont be available etc..

if you look closely in the pic you can see the dealers website address.. www.smc-ford.co.uk
Had a look on there for all mondeo's £6k plus, finds 3 blue ones similar, but none of that particular car... worth noting that an 07 plate one they have with 20k miles is a smidge under £15k so yeah this one u listed is likely dodgy in some way or other.

I must admit, I did the exact same thing. I realise that the price on this is so low its likely to be dodgy, but was intrigued to know where the scam was.
