I only got one 8800gtx.But am thinking of buying a second for SLI,Go do some then.
Be sure to post your results here so we can all benefit.
VIper
Are you a bit shy in the CPU department ? that is a terrible SLI result.
Crysis is not CPU dependant
Oh yes it is.
But it only uses 2 cores.
Those claiming it doesn't scale with SLI and Crossfire simply do not have enough CPU power to keep the graphic cards fed.
Thats no surprise they have higher clock speeds and Crysis does not use more than 2 cores.Weird... I see dual cores at the top......
If you want to benefit from SLI with Crysis you need CPU power.
Quads aren't much use though as the clock speeds are generally lower and Crysis only uses 2 cores properly.
With my old dual running at 3500 Ghz i scored 46FPS with one GTX and 61FPS with 2.
Swapping out the CPU for a Wolfdale saw the SLI score rise to around 70FPS.
Clearly CPU clock speed is important.
