Streetfighter IV video, omg!

is it just me or is there nothing new here?

A lot of the gameplay "bits" are new, but I want to see proper gameplay. i.e. a full round with HUD etc.

Still looks amazing though but as some commentators have mentioned (since playing the versions at AOU) it is more SF2 than linked to SF3 in anyway. I hope there is more to it than older sf2s (which it seems to emulate) as the shiny graphics will get boring after a while.

which format?

That is the Arcade version. As far as I know current hardware in Arcades is not as powerful as 360 or ps3 so we can expect that quality (or better) on the console ports.

I need to know find out which/when/how Arcades in London will have this machine in soon.

i thinkl the graphical style is pretty much nailed tbh, those animations are very good and i love the cartoon-over-3d style anyway. im not really much of a street fighter fan but it does like very good.

Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo was one of my fave games ever and still has a heavy competative community, lets hope SF4 ends up that way.

360 and PS3 iirc.

Arcade atm, no console has been stated but it is safe to assume that it will be on the 360/PS3. A Wii version hasn't been ruled out but it really depends on how much they would have to cut from the graphics and getting a control system together. Can't see it myself.

Hopefully this should be brillaint , get back to the best sf2 IMO streetfighter 2 hyper fighting utterly awesome many a 6 form lesson got "cancelled" due to me kicking bottom in the student SU

I think the character animation are pretty good and the art style is very nice. But why on earth are all of the characters huge? (size of ken in comparisson to Zangeif then look back at street fighter 2 turbo)

Also, it looks a little bit slow at the minute and from what I have been reading Chun Li has slowed down a lot from previous Street Fighter games.

I thought capcom made a statement that it would be on those 2 systems for the home port.

Wii classic pad is by far the best for beat em ups when compared to the 360 and ps3 abominations.

Looks awesome although gamespace is a little restricted

This was always the premise of Street Fighter though, controlling space was the first steps towards winning the fight. Take Ryu, Ken or Sagat for instance, constantly controlling the bottom half of the screen with high priority fireballs and having Shoryuken (Ken/Ryu's Uppercut) or Tiger Uppercut (Sagat) for anyone who tried to jump over the fireballs thus locking the oponent into a situation they would have to work hard to escape.
