Any ideas on the next RR?

Changing the lambda sensor today and taking it in for its retest.

It's blowing slightly at the backbox flange (hehe, I said flange :p) so I'm going to whip that off and seal that up.

If it still doesn't pass, it could be the catalyst.

Weird thing is, it doesn't seem to be using any more fuel than normal. I was out hooning the other night and got 20MPG and can still easily get 35+ MPG on a run to work.

It's a bit gutting, as apart from the emissions, the car's sound. Runs great and for the time being... is troublefree. Just need it to pass the MOT so I can start saving my pennies for the bodywork.

How much was it out by? The cerb failed it's MOT on emissions because of a blowing exhaust. Replaced that part and it passed (the cerb is apparently only just capable of passing emissions anyway  )

It's fun, I turned up in a shoddy little 205 last RR, met people and was good...hopefully I'll have a car for the next one (not to run)...if not I'll have to persuade the missus that she wants to drive up and meet people too. :D

The CO was .88, should have been .3.

Can't remember any of the other figures. If it doesn't pass today, I'll get a printout.

New lambda is on. Boy, am I glad I copper greased the thread last time I changed it :D

I should be attending this one :D * fingers crossed *

My HDi will be intercooled and remapped by then :)

Will also be good to meet all the people from here :D

Is this some special Police lube?

How does the RR work? D oyou have to get in and floor it or do they do it? I'm an RR n00b.

Are you being serious ? :p

Copper grease is anti-seize stuff, very good.. its grease with copper in it :p

IIRC they do your car on the RR and you watch, and they progress up the gear slowly until they get to forth and run with that I think :)

It also broke a hedge...;)

You drive onto the rollers, get out and watch as the guys set the rollers, then run the car through the gears, to 4th (or best straight through gear) and they bring it up to max RPM. Then they let it roll out to a stop which will allow the computer to be able to work out the drag on the wheels and rollers etc.

It then has a nice graph on the screens. :)

Well that's what I worked out/understood from being at the last one.

i wouldnt mind popping along to one if its anywhere near me. The only one i went to, the rollers were giving incorrect figures so would mind trying again and see what it says
