In the 1990's (earlier rather than later I think) there was a film on BBC (IIRC).
It was about children who were made to live with a horrible old woman who made the children work in a cotton factory. In the countryside there were wild wolves that the children were told to be warey of.
In one scene in the cotton factory, the old womans son was put through a press and was squashed to death.
In the end, the old woman was chasing the children through the woods and IIRC was killed by the wolves.
I found it very disturbing as a child, but I think it was more of a family film than a kids film.
Any ideas? I think wolves was in the title.
Cheers!
