Didn't like it until i had customised it to my preference. I think it's a good balance between simplicity and modern web 2.0 features.

I like it, dont love it but it seems to do the job.

Very generic modern, lots of curved edges and floating boxes

Nope, that's the bit they use to tell you the things they want to tell you rather then the rest which is all about what you want to see.

You can't have it all your own way.

I must say, even though it looks nice, I'll still use their news website for the news and the radio website for the radio and the iPlayer site for the iPlayer... they all do the job they were created for much better than a one stop shop in my opinion.

Mmm not bad. Wish you could get rid of the huge advert or at least move it to the bottom of the page though.

Would be nice if you could have more than just BBC channels on the whats on as well but I guess that would be asking a public service to do more than just publicise itself

Does google have something like this? I dont like BBC's new website anymore, the gimmick worn off after about 15 mins of playing around and I just use the seperate websites for news and everything.

Yes, it's called iGoogle and you can access it from the Google search page.

I think it's ok, I've been using it for the beta too as I felt it was better than the old one that just looked dated.
