Hi guys, went out for a quick walk today down in Eling in Marchwood (Southampton). Wasn't expecting to get any great shots as everytime i have been down there so far they have turned out pretty poor, just can't seem to get a good compostition. These are a few that i kind of like, the only one i will keep will probably be the bottom one.

Anyway C + C welcomed.

Thanks for looking

Theres a housing estate to the right of that, that has a pathway that lets you get a lot closer, i have taken a few shots myself of that with a digicam with no zoom lens available.

Another fact about that place is it is where the channel 4 advert is filmed.

Really, i've driven through that estate before but never saw a pathway to get closer, i did always wonder if it was possible to get closer. Next time i'll have a better look, thanks.

I can't remember how we got there specifically, but we went the long way round and over a little town run toll bridge (which was a rip off) then you got to an estate that is surrounded by large walls and looks very expensive, beside one of the walls is a walking path next to some horse fields that lets you get behind the surrounding wall and into where some people obviously fish, overlooking the dock.
Boring picture but its there as an example of where i was.

personally i think you have composed them really well. they have a lot of depth to them, with interesting backgrounds and foregrounds. exposures are spot on to. :)
