Anyone here play console games through headphones?

Yeah i got a set of Sharkoon X-Tactic 5.1 Headphones from OcUK.
They are awesome and come highly recommended from me. Interestingly OcUK dont seem to stock them anymore, but they are an excellent headset with a clip on microphone that plugs straight into your Xbox 360 controller.

How does it inteface with the xbox?
Thats what i paid from Overclockers, think its the going rate to be honest. When i shopped around everywhere was around the same price.
And if you end up buying them, dont do what I did and try forcing the optical cables into the connections without taking the caps off. I was going mental as to why the cables wouldnt connect properly

Not heavy at all, they are really comfortable and have never found the headphones to get hot.
Yeah, plug it into a power source, plug the optical cable in, my xbox detected the optical cable automatically, and then i was straight into gaming through my headset. For the microphone to work you have to adjust the xbox live speaker settings so the sound "comes through speakers" but its explained in the manual and takes about 3 minutes to do.

Only at night, just plug in my MP3 player headphones into my Logitech control center.
Yup tried it last night as the mrs wanted to do work on the laptop in the lounge.
Kuro - stereo amp - Grado hf-1s
COD4 sounded fantastic, plus the ground war games were mad last night. A whole team rushing down a street to a capture point in domination, with most my team being noobies it was a use the whole clip moment, pickup dead guys gun, try and kill some more, then get a new gun when cleip went empty. Grenade launcher became very handy.
The best fun ive had on my Ps3 PERIOD !

I find I get hot ears if I wear proper headphones. Tis annoying.
Get a desktop fan next to you, blowing onto your ears.

think he means you need headset on one ear to speak on LIVE and then headphones on to here tv, so two sets on yourhead
Been looking for a pair of these headphones myself, seen quite a few good reviews on them. The missus doesnt appreciate CoD4 on full blast
