Hehe Fox was right in the other motors thread posted in GD. Tom0, these cars will handle 98k easily, got another 80k left in it if it's look after properly

Good price, very good infact. ES spec isn't the disaster it is on the 3 Series when looking at 5 Series. Will do a detailed post later.

I'd be a bit suspicious at this money from a dealer, check it thoroughly. Will explain what to look for later, as I'm supposed to be doing coursework now

lol, i noticed it says nothing about service history so that'd be one thing i'd check.

A quick note, ES is now BMW's bottom of the range trim and is rubbish. On the E39 it was a runout model with a decent spec and some of the Sport extras as standard. I suppose the fact its a 520i could account for much of the price, not desireable cars. No cheaper to run than a 530i, but slower. But at this money that becomes irrelevant as you wont get a good 530 for 5995 from a dealer.
