OMG! Dymag are the kings of light wheels! They are very far from cheap aswell. :eek:

Surely traction will be non existant! 500bhp in something that weighs nothing!

What on earth is the power/weight ratio on that ! ("The Atom will have over 1000bhp per tonne, compared to a Bugatti Veyron’s 521bhp/tonne")

If the new cateringvan is going to be about £115k then surely this is going to be even more?

It's a completely insane car and I cannot imagine how fast it will be but regardless of the performance, would you really spend well over £100k on a selection of scaffolding and some wheels?
 
I know the 340bhp Atoms were really pushing it in terms of actually being driveable and more importantly fun on track. Unless you have a whole track to yourself you'll spend the entire lap sitting behind slower cars waiting for a safe overtake.
 
Yeah, like the original wasnt fast enough they go and do something like this, lol.

Very good to see that the world of motoring isnt going completely green just yet, just need to see if Top Gear have it on there.
