today at 12.26 in the afternoon, my wonderful wife gave birth to a baby girl

Sara was born at 38.5 weeks via c-section, and weighed in at a healthy 7lbs 9 oz.

We are, after 6 years of trying, operations and IVF, hope and heartache, a family, and i am a dad

i cant think of any smilies that describe how i feel, so i wont....

I cant wait to go back to the hospital and see her again...

I know a couple that have spent a fortune on that sort of stuff and have got nowhere - so if it's something you really want, I guess you are blessed.

For now, I'm happy working to support myself - I have two nieces and a nephew (and another unknown on the way) so zero pressure on me to have sprogs and can just spoil them! - huzzah! (does this make me selfish?)
