If you could cancel one sport what would it be

What annoys me about Horse Racing is that it's not really a sport - it's just a form of "educated" lottery. Nobody actually supports a horse or a rider, all that matters is form and odds, and forking over money to dodgy blokes on trackside. It's just an upgraded version of betting on which drop of water will get down a window first.

UFC, boring glamoured up rubbish, bring back PRIDE

In fact any American invented sport, boring glamoured up rubbish with 2 too many breaks.

They'd all go bar Football, F1, WRC, Rugby Union, Snooker, and Wrestling (if you can even really consider that a sport anyway).

Then again, you do get the occasional good game of Tennis.

The rest are just about as exciting as watching paint dry.

Wrestling is Sports Entertainment nowadays.

I'd cancel International Football. If I'm not allowed that then Horse-Racing. I wasted a lot of my youth looking for something to watch of a Saturday - the exact same thing on both Channel 4 and BBC One didn't help that quest.

Although Airwolf made things better.

Personally I would ban football, it attracts far to many mindless idiots that love to cause trouble. I can't stand it. You go to parties and you may find yourself with a bunch of blokes having a chat, of all the interesting things in the world they talk about football.

I find cricket boring to watch yet snooker and golf strangely hypnotic to watch.

However, the most pointless sport in the entire world: speed walking/race walking.

Although I am pretty sure that tiddlywinks is classed as a sport, but that is more fun and you don't look as stupid as speed walking :D

Athletics events....who cares who can run faster? or throw a pointy stick the furthest?.... now snooker is a real entertaining "sport" ... ;) :)

^ I'm sorry if I've hurt your feelings but I have no interest in finding out how limp wristed you are and how hard it is. I'll stick to tennis and women thanks.

Football.

It just ain't a sport anymore. It's a money-making industry, it's corporate branding, the game will sell it's soul to anyone with the highest bid.

Which is a crying shame, as it could make a very good sport.
