So I went home from uni last week, overtook a lorry on the a50 and I notice an x5 (the landrover size BMX iirc) sitting on my bumper. I very lightly tutch the brakes in order to show my brake lights, to which he does not respond and continues sitting on my bumper. As there are a few lorries in the slow lane so I cannot pull in. At this point I am going quite quickly (still <100mph though) and pass the last lorry and try to pull in. By this point he is flashing his headlights and dangerously overtakes me before I can pull into the slow lane.

Anyway.... he continues to be a tard and weaves in and out of other cars dangerously way in excess of 100mph.
.....10miles later I come up to a roundabout, and he is there in the fast lane right next to me in the slow lane. I just looked at him and laughed, he drove like an absolute **** and hadnt got any further ahead. Bear in mind I have a micra and he was flooring his x5 wherever he could.
Really, what is the point?!

Is an unwritten rule that says on a national speed limit a BMW driver must aim to go at the speed of the car in front plus 10mph more, no matter what?

Nice of you to tar all BMW drivers with the same brush. Other marques have just as idiotic ******* behind the wheel too.

I hate X 5 drivers, I got hit from the back by one a few years ago, smashed my bumper and number plate, but did not even leave a mark on his tank!!!

there are a lot of idiotic drivers in a lot of different cars, the difference is the ones in the germanmobiles are the ones with the grunt to be noticed :p

lets face it if i drive like a tit in my car it will make a big meal of 100 (and probably wont get there unless driving dead straight), unlike a german barge

You are missing the real problem here. If you guys in inferior, crappy cars were not in our way blocking up our roads, we'd have no need to tailgate you and overtake you.

The sooner you learn your place and pull over the better. We dont THINK we are better than everyone else on the road, we ARE better than everyone else on the road.

lol these threads are bound to get the 'tar with the same brush' replies

BUT

They wouldn't come up time and again if there wasn't something in it.

I was doing almost 95mph trying to hurry up the overtake.
Then you clearly fit the BMW sterotype. From one post I see that you think your car is the best and you own the road...
My god 60k posts, do you have a job:o?!:p

1) Where can I buy one of these giant BMX's, sounds like fun

2) Doing this is dangerous and makes you an idiot

3) People drive like morons in all makes and models of car

It actually scares me when I see a beamer coming up behind me.

He is taking the mick.

There's a fair share of BMW drivers living up to the stereotype out there, but I'd say there's more 4x4 drivers who drive like aggressive Neanderthals. Would you have started a thread like this if it had been a Mitsubishi Pajero, not a BMW X5?
