I have noticed that vista isn't as snappy anymore since changing to Vista Ultimate 32 with 2GB ram; as it was when running Vista Ultimate 64 with 4Gb.

So basically is it worth spending an extra £37 to get Vista Ultimate 64 over Vista Home Premium 64?

Also I need to install Vista on two pcs, will the oem version allow me to do this?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Speedwise there is no difference between Ultimate and Home Premium.

But Vista64 with 4GB will `seem` quicker than Vista32 with 2GB due to more programs being precached.

No you can only install the OEM onto 1 PC.

Best value Vista you can buy in the EDU Home Premium 64bit, costs about £55.

Cheers for the replies, I thought it would be the same as with xp, where you need to phone up microsoft, and just repeat "first time i have installed windows" down the phone. :D

Shame
