Tried the online email response system and it emailed me back with this:

Im not bothered because I already bought a replacement set, exactly the same. I won't clock it this time and hope I get 4Gb working with win xp 64-bit pro.

When will they make dx10 work with other OS's? I might upgrade my x1900xt if they did.

DX10 will be Vista only.

I would phone Crucials freephone number rather than emailing them. You usually get straight through to a Scottish bloke/bird and they issue you with an RMA number straight-away. It's a very good service. Tho you may as well wait for them to emal you one now since you've already contacted they by email.

agreed - call them up - they give you an RMA number and you send in the post to them - 48hours later - new set of ballsitix!!

Battlefield 2 was crashing with my new ram at default speed and 1.8v so I set 1.9v, BF2 has not crashed and will not in future I hope. Its got 5666 19 timing IIRC. Im not sure if I will get the single sided ram as RMA from crucial.

Its not crashed with 1.9v so I put it at 444 12 24 timings (as suggested when u look at spd rating in cpu-z), and I am using orthos to stress test it. Is there a better test? Preferably windows based?

Got replacement today. Im loading a 64-bit version of win xp but want to get up to date drivers for my p35 dq6 more up to date than what gigabyte offers. Got the sound driver but chipset driver is confusing me in terms of where to get it.
