Would any one here bother buying a gold plated iPod?

I remember seeing them on Dragons Den, the guy was called Midas Touch. At the time I thought it was a really good idea, but his prices on his website kinda put me off.

There is a 16GB 24ct gold plated iPod Touch going on eBay for around 200 quid... Maybe that would be the best way of getting one? Midas Touch is selling the same thing for over £300

Any way, just wondering

if it was a limited edition by apple, then maybe, purely as a collector's item to sell in 50 years as an antique.
