I'm going to one of those indoor snow slopes tomorrow (xscape, Castleford) and need some advice on what I need to wear, such as salopettes, gloves and goggles or just jeans and a jumper?

I haven't been skiing for about 10 years and I've never been to one of these indoor places before, I've looked on the website and it doesn't really offer any advice.

I guess you need gloves, a good jacket and goggles, a hat maybe

try the local outdoor retailers

Undies only...

No seriously I always just wear my boarding pants a t-shirt and fleese kind of top or a sweatshirt.

Gloves obviously, but deffo NOT goggles, you will look like a right fool wearing goggles indoors.

lol ok, why dont you just take some spare warmers and cloths just in case you get cold or **** yourself :P

If you realy tight on budget a daily newspapers could provide some good insulation

Don't wear jeans, that will almost certainly lead to a wet backside, particularly if you are snowboarding.

Boarding pants or salopettes and a lightish jacket along with some gloves should be about all you need, you obviously won't have the benefit of sunlight to warm you up (or make you require goggles) but the temperature is constant and there is no wind to affect it.

Just wear what you normally wear for skiing (-goggles).
I'v been to xscape in Braehead a few times and its colder in there than most days up the cairngorms.

You can rent pants and a jacket at Xscape if you need to.

Any waterproof jacket you have will be fine...
You really should wear some kind of waterproof pants though, because jeans look ridiculous and if you are new to either discipline, you will be falling over and getting wet.

I hate TK Max with a passion - but for acceptable quality Ski gear at next to no cost you just can't beat it! Decent jacket for £40 and Salopettes for £20 is perfectly possible.
