OEM Vista x64 integrated SP1

Guys

Couple of questions on this.

1, when available how would you go about getting hold of either an integrated SP1 DVD from Microsoft or ISO?

2, is there a difference between the retail and OEM versions, ie could you use a retail vista x64 sp1 retail disk with your OEM key?

Im not looking to download a torrent or anything from P2P

You don't get it from MS, you get make it yourself using nLite or vLite.

There's lots of information on this, both in the sticky and in past threads, do a search. But no, you can't use an OEM product key with retail media.

cheers, had a look at vlite but doesnt seem like there will be a way to integrate an sp till vista sp2.

Whats the big deal with slipstreaming, isn't it just as easy to install Vista then sp1.

It saves spending hours updating an OS, especially if you have a slow connection speed. Plus you can also include other apps etc
