Thinking of picking up a Samsung M87 40" model to use with my Xbox 360 and PS3. But I also want to hook it up to my PC and perhaps use it as a main monitor via a dedicated DVI to HDMI cable (no fiddling around with any adapters). Any owners tried this? What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Yes it works. Although people with Mac's have been having problems getting native to work. Got a M86 and 1:1 works. It's a bit big, but if you're using it for games then worthwhile..just spend time setting it up as OOTB the picture is horrid.

Well I won't be hooking it to my MacBook, it'll be connected to my gaming rig I have at home. I shouldn't have any problems, right?

Hi, I'm using a 40" M87 connected to my PC.
I'm using a DVI->HDMI adaptor and an HDMI cable. Works brilliantly. Very happy with the setup.
I'm running it at 1920x1080, there are lots of tweaks you can do to get the picture just how you want it.

Rick.
