Accomodation in the Lake District?

Hi guys, looking at 3 or 4 of us going to the Lake District the last week of this month. Been looking at Cottages and Chalets etc, but they all start on Fridays/Mondays or Saturdays. But we need to start on a Tuesday. Does anyone have any tips/recommendations of ways around this or other places to stay? Or is it camping for us?

Depends how much you want to pay really, there is a ton of b&b's/hotels in the main tourist areas (keswick, ambleside, windermere) areas..

Windermere or Bowness-on-Windermere are nice locations. Great mountains around if your "in to" camping aswell. Been there about 4-5 times myself and its always great.

Is a very nice place with great facilities and awesome view. Not far from windermere etc. either.
