God of war is possibly the best gaming experience any series has consistently delivered, i really can't wait.
On the ignore front - if you chose to click ignore, it is just that, ignore. I don't think anyone should have to relay messages around like we're back in a primary school playground and someone stole someone else's power rangers stickers.

So it's Resistance 2 (a sequel to a game I didn't like in SP at all) and MGS4 (a game that's gone downhill in every iteration since the classic MGS).
I am hoping MGS4 will surprise me, and Resistance 2 will be great in MP, but this so called "awesome 2008" is very, very quickly disappearing for the PS3.

The PS3 is going to have an Awesome year with or without FF13 and GT5.
As you know mate I'm waiting on Microsoft announcing some exclusives at GDC and E3 - GDC has been and gone, not interested in Fable 2/NG2/GOW2 so we'll see what E3 brings. The only reason I'd want a 360 right now is for Lost Odyssey (though even that i'm not sure of, it's certainly a poor mans FF)
This is my opinion though, some people may prefer the 360 exclusives over the PS3 exclusives which is fine, I'm more than happy with whats hitting my system.

Just bought a PS3, primarily for the blu-ray player and sadly not much on that list is interesting or very original
Hopefully some other titles will appear as I think my PC/360 will be getting used for gaming more than the PS3 as it stands this year.But ontopic, GOW3 woo hooo

Exactly my point, that list isn't going to appeal to everyone, but it's got me foaming at the mouth!
Although what i'm most interested in this year are all the quirky little PSN titles that we've been getting and Disgaea 3 (which isn't going to appeal to many over this side of the world)
And yeah back on topic, dying to see what they do with GoW3, be interesting to see a HD Kratos
2008 has only started so to be disappointed it would be premature.
None of the big titles have been released yet but with plenty to come it stands to be an excellent year but if the titles that you are waiting on specifically are not coming out until the following year ( GOW3 and FF13 for example ) then this year could be disappointing to some.

The only games i will be buying this year for the ps3,
Did get it primeraly for blu-ray though so any good games on it are a bonus
Hated SP on original, MP should be good.
You say 2009 then put it in a 2008 list.
Same game, but MGS2 and MGS3 aren't as good as MGS (not even close) and MGS4 looks poor graphically and just doesn't seem to do it for me.
I liked making games with level editors in ReVolt or TimeSplitters in 2000, it's 2008 now and I can't see it being played for a couple of weeks.
First ones never did it for me.

Should have been out a long time ago, looking more and more aged by the hour.
Should be cool and something the console should have launched with, but it's not a game.
Great fun games.
They have no real depth compared to skilful fighters like Virtua Fighter 5, Street Fighter or even Soul Calibur.
Got it last year and it's a good extended demo of a full game.

Those of us who buy our consoles because they have exclusive games that interest us are going to have a fanastic year.
Hopefully the third GoW will be as good as the first two. Still need to pick them up sometime though

And KillZone 2 should hit '08, I just think they would be stupid to release it anywhere near Resistance 2, and have a feeling they will push it back because of that.
Why exactly? Can the PS3 not accommodate two good shooters in the same year?? Orange Box and Halo 3 came out barely two weeks apart and I don't think it hurt sales of either.

I'm sick of hearing the same bias **** from a lot of people here too, but it still happens. I'm not sucked in by hype like hundreds of people here. If they're good games, I'll buy them, but previous iterations in those series' of games don't fill me with a lot of confidence as they all seem to go downhill.
A couple of new IP's wouldn't be a bad thing.

A good 2 years coming up as far as I'm concerned, Of course, People are inclined to disagree, And find the current year of gaming some what lacking, I'm not one of those people though, As I'm looking forward to the games.

I dont think your biased, just only your opinion, like everyone elses is just as valid, you only think theres 1 AAA PS3 game out this year, I dont agree but thats my opinion, so we're both right in our own mind. There is some excellent new IPs coming this year to the PS3, Infamous, Valkrie chronicles, White Knight Story to name a few, and all new IP.
