Football **Spoilers** March 1st/2nd

:) :)

Another big win for us. :D

Great score aswell.

5 points behind Chelsea. Third place is possible if they slip up and we continue as we are doing. :)

They're playing United as it happens. We'll have already dented Liverpool's chances the week before though ;)

Towards his head because thats the way he was facing, you could say the same thing about Boa Morte if you were being really picky, there's no way he was trying to kick him in the head.

Trying to and doing by accident are 2 different things, however sometimes they have the right result. His foot was thrust towards Boa-Morte's head, accident or on purpose doesn't matter, it happened and he should be sent off for it.

Didn't see anything towards Boa Morte's head.

That's because it was nowhere near :p

On that logic a high foot would be a sending off...

There was definantly a kicking/stamping action by Lampard (not at Boa Morte's head though) and if players are going to be sent off for slaps then he deserved to get sent off for that.

However he was sent of for the push as the lino thought it was a slap, so although he was sent off for something he didn't do, imo he still deserved the red and i'd be suprised if any appeal was successful.

I never said it was at his head (or if I did, I apologise), it was a series of 2 kick outs, the first when he was travelling back, this wasn't at anything in particular (or I hope not) but it was near Boa Morte's head to the point where contact COULD have been made. The second is as BaZ said, and for me, he deserves to be sent off for it.

I don't think it's wise to write off Arsenal so soon, especially with Rosicky and RvP close to fitness, especially Rosicky - he's exactly what Arsenal have been missing and I think as soon as he gets back then things will change.

no one shoud be writing any of the top 3 off, just whereas a few weeks ago the momentum was clearly with Arsenal it's now clearly swung back to United.

The one benefit Arsenal have is getting an EPL match done this weekend (while Chelsea and Man Utd play in the FA Cup)-away to Wigan - should be a reasonable 3 points , which while only psychological will increase the gap again

Very interesting race for the title and for fourth spot (think Everton could knick it myself athough they need to start scoring more reletive to Liverpool pretty soon)
