Mine was a 1993 VW Polo 1.3 Cl 3 door. purchased at only 4000 miles in 1998! Sadly the first owner died in 1995 and it was used lightly by her son, basically just to stretch its legs and as a car for his wife who used it for shopping on the weekend and that was it, his mum rarely drove it before she passed on. Loved it! and for a 17yr old it was plenty of power! Sold it in 2000 as i had a really close job and did'nt really use a car or need the expenses.

Renault 5 1.4 was the first car I owned however only learned in it. I guess my first real car that I owned and drove properly was My first of two Rover 214's bubble shape....

Brand new Y reg Fiesta Freestyle 1.25 16v.

I thought it was ace, and in fairness as a first car it is pretty good :)

1.4 8v astra. Cost 100quid and was quite nice for a 1st motor. Spent about a year on it cleaning it up, getting it mot'd etc. Hit a lampost two months later was gutted.

Still my Mk2 1.6 Golf :)

F reg FSO Polonez 1.5

Lol, are you Polish :p?

The police (mainly in the countryside) in Poland still sometimes drives around in these cars, although they're becoming more rare by the day.

My dad always complained that these are terrible cars ( he's Polish):p...

Whats your opinion about it, always woundered how FSO cars are?

I passed my test in 1995. My first car, and the one I learnt in (other than the instructors), was a 1979 (old V-reg) VW Polo with a whole 0.9 liters of power. I loved that car.

Mk5 Escort 1.4 LX. :D

Still regret selling it, would have made an excellent daily driver while my RS is off the road. :p
