So if you had enough money to do that, you would invest it in something that was already attempted and failed?
:/

As if i would go about it in the exact same way & like no other vid site has had any success.![]()
If you intend to change it, then why bother with a failed site? Why not start a new one?
And from a business point of view, I can count the number of successful video streaming websites on one (badly mutilated) hand.

Well you'd need to buy it as they won't let anyone else use their web player![]()
You wouldn't need to buy it at all, if you had the capital and the interest, you could develop something as good if not better.
would take a long time
I am sadly one of those statistics in the system that had to go bankrupt due to high debts![]()
Great less completion. If you intend to change it, then why bother with a failed site? Why not start a new one?

Why start a new one when one is already well known.
Plus you don't know why it failed. & it was not because of the quality & functionality to the user which i have yet to see matched or bettered as that's the parts i would keep.
Or do you think it has to low quality & hard to download content like youtube to make it work.
There was nothing wrong with stage6 in its self the way they went about making money is another matter.
Well if you really think that is a good investment then good luck to you. I just don't personally believe that resurrecting Stage6 is a particularly sensible venture if you're interested in making a profit.
the fact that sites like youtube is still with us shows that it can work even tho its not the best of quality.
It was not owned by goggle to start with & that is part of the flaw with your argument.Wasn't intending to continue this, but you have to be joking... Youtube is owned by google, thus giving it a practically infinate budget. If you're talking about creating a video streaming site as a business venture and justifying it by saying, "It must must work, look at youtube!", it is like creating your own OS because MS windows is quite popular.

Well, as I've already said. If you happen to find yourself in a position to launch such a thing. Then good luck.![]()
Not very wise - maybe over 5 years ago would be okI'd like to have my own techy shop, selling computers and hardware components.
