I have just purchased and installed this game (and also patched it up to 1.03) and am wondering if there are any tweaks or mods out to enhance the game experience in any way?
Really looking forward to giving it a try but wanted to check first. Google seems to come up with allot for KOTOR II but not the first one

Played it on xbox, just get into it, not much to learn really apart from the controls. Always concentrate on the biggest enemy at the time as usual. Learn who's best at what and use them efficiently. It's a great game so good luck!

It's one of the classics alright, you will thoroughly enjoy it.

You asked about mods, but I can't think of any that stand out TBH.

The game still looks pretty good considering it's age, And it is still amazing to play

No mods/texture packs needed on this one

If you have a widescreen display, then this is definitely worth checking out:

Will enable widescreen resolutions. Only slight problem is that the position of HUD elements does not change, so they are no longer quite in the corners.

As far as i remember, they didnt release a SDK, so you couldn't mod the game?

But others have summed it up, just play through it and enjoy. Brilliant game.

They should make a film about the story line.

Cant wait for number 3.

It was made on the original NWN engine, so loads of mods are available. :cool:

My fav are Weapons of the Old Republic WOTOR MUCH improved weapon models, and you can have Calo Nords hand cannons and all.

and Movie style Hilts

I think thats Count Dooku's sabre there

I played with this patch and tbh I quite preferred it, didn't have to move the mouse as much in combat and actually missed it when playing kotor2

Theres a mod which removes force power restriction from armours - look on kotorfiles (I can barely remember).

For your first game don't bother with any mods, just make sure you use the auto patcher to patch it.

Exactly, you'll want to play it again anyway. Number 2 isn't as polished, but will help when you need a KOTOR fix.

I've recently started playing KOTOR again man i love this game, i really want them to make another game to the same standard as KOTOR, KOTOR II was ok, nothing more

There are most certainly mods, but because they never released an official SDK finding high quality mods can be hard (though they are some).
