wow realm question

Yup, you need to buy a Asia copy to play there.

Out of interest, why do you want to play in Asia? the ping would be awful.

Well the game is installed at like a billion internet cafes here so i dont need to buy it...im just stuck because i cant login with my euro account here T.T

i guess i have to create a new account in this region :/
which i cant do...so im screwed.

Well, if you can get hold of a Europe WoW.exe then you can run your Asian copy in Europe.

You also need to change the config file to connect to the Europe login realms.

No need for anything to play on the Euro servers in Asia, just change the config file like you said in the last sentance.

Easy.

Browse to your wow directory, look for a file called "realmlist.wtf" and open it with notepad.

Delete what ever is inside and paste this:

set realmlist eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist eu.version.worldofwarcraft.com

Save and exit.

Next time you load up wow, you'll log into the EU servers.
 
ok funky..that works...
problem is that the korean client is all in korean..including all the quests and stuff...now i wish i had expanded my vocab to include fantasy terms T.T
 
Sorry to drift a litte, but seemed the correct place to post it.

Does anyone know the newest PVE server on the EU wow servers?

Me and a couple of mates are thinking of rerolling horde so wanted a nice clean start if possible.

Shatterd Halls was released with TBC.

There is also currently a OCUK guild on that server too. I think there horde.
 
Shattered Halls is a fairly new server, with quite a nice balance of horde-alliance

also OcUK quild is located here, Horde based! welcoming new OcUK members, let me know if you want to join up etc etc! :)

currently has 109 people in it from OcUk + friends of OcUK
 
For the other guy: in game model skins shouldn't make a difference. People mess about with them all the time (like the guy who re-skinned his hunter pet with Ragnaros). Even if it doesn't change your skin to the asian version you will appear to everyone else as the asian undead skin, just not yourself.

I think it's against the rules to mess abotu with skins, but since it doesn't give you any advantage over the game or other players, they wont do anything about it.

Only he will see the Asian skins, the other players will see the normal undead.
