I finaly got sick of not having a working tripod after it was snapped in Ecuador
last year so I gaffer taped it together tonight, switched out the lights in the bathroom and got creative with some torches.

Hope you like this set as much as I liked creating them.
C & C welcome as always.

Wow, I love them all!

Any chance you could post a link to the Rubik's cube picture at a higher res? I'd love it as my background (1920x1200) :)

How do you go about these, literally long exposure / shake the light etc?

Most DSLR's allow you to set the exposure for 30 seconds or have a bulb mode which means it'll stay open for as long as you press the shutter. What most do for bulb mode is to use a remote shutter with a lock for long exposures (like a couple of minutes etc)

Yeah was thinking it was basically that, so then just move the light around etc, and the bulb catches it.

Cool effects. I like the ones with the glass ball best.

So are those on a glass table and you 'painted' under the table? Or also above the table? They are LED torches right?

Sure, will send you a copy tonight to your mail in Trust

Thanks folks for the kind replys, I took them with a remote release on 8-10sec shutter speed and used two torches. The blue is a small led keyring and the yellow was a maglight.

All taken on a metallic bathroom cabinet with the torch pointed directly down so the light was reflected off the surface.
My glass ball(s) is around 15cm in diameter. Its a glass paperweight that is blue in colour which I picked up from a car boot sale :D

If possible would it be possible to have a 1280 x 1024 of the 1st one please? :)

Great work all in all though, well done.
