Guys,

I have a BT Total Broadband home hub.

It only has two LAN ports. I have one PC (gaming) wired to the hub and BT Vision using the 2nd port.

However, I also want to wire my 2nd PC (media) and my PS3 too as streaming wirelessly is no good.

Given that I want 4 wired connections but only have two ports available, is there anyway I can do this?

If of any use, the IP35 Pro board on the gaming PC has a second LAN. Could I use this for the PS3 or Media PC and share the connection?

Thanks for any help.

get a cheapo 4 port switch and plug it to one of the LAN on BT broadband router

Cheers Wesley. Sorry, total noob in this area.

When you say "switch", does that mean I can have all four connections running simultaniously or only one? If so, is bandwidth restricted?

Ta.

LOL /thread means thread closed/locked as i gave you a perfect answer ;)

yep all 4 ports will simultaniously into 1 port of your BT broadband router, 100mb switch will be fine :)
